The visionary artists and designers behind the movement valued the postcard as an ideal format for their own social and aesthetic program: to imbue objects of daily use with beauty and the elements of good design. In 2010, the Neue Galerie presented an exhibition of Wiener Werkstätte postcards generously donated by the Leonard A.
