Sommerfest

Join young supporters of the Neue Galerie on Thursday, June 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. for Sommerfest, one of two signature events hosted by the Junior Council each year. Celebrate all things summer with live jazz, seasonal drinks, and canapés served by the celebrated Café Sabarsky. The museum will be open for private viewing of the permanent collection.

Drinks and canapés will be served by the celebrated Café Sabarsky, which is led by Michelin-starred chef Christopher Engel. The galleries will be open, featuring “Austrian Masterworks from the Neue Galerie."

Junior Council Members receive two complimentary tickets! Tickets for friends and additional guests are $150 per person. All funds raised support the Neue Galerie's Annual Fund, providing invaluable funding for our educational and curatorial initiatives.

About the junior council

The Junior Council is a dynamic and diverse group of individuals between the ages of approximately 21 and 40, committed to supporting the Neue Galerie’s mission. Each season, members are engaged with exclusive programming, both in and outside the museum, centered on early twentieth-century German and Austrian art and design. The ultimate goal of the group is to help secure the future growth, development and success of the museum.
