Celebrate the spookiest night of the year with an after-hours party inside the museum’s historic, gilded-age mansion. Tricks and treats await at every corner, including a cabaret performance by Kim David Smith, astrology readings by Francesca Vuillemin, and a costume competition.
During the evening, the top ten costumes as chosen by our judges will be given a free admission pass to the museum. This pass will be your notice that you are a finalist in the competition. First, second, and third place winners will be chosen from among the top ten. The winners will be announced in Café Sabarsky by Kim David Smith at 9:50 p.m. and will receive fabulous prizes from the Neue Galerie shops!
Drinks and canapés will be served by the celebrated Café Sabarsky, which is led by Michelin-starred chef Christopher Engel. The special exhibition “Egon Schiele: Living Landscapes," is not to be missed, and will be on view on the third floor until 9:30 p.m.
